Or so I hope. Otherwise, next time, instead of formatting the hard drive, reinstalling Windows and all of the applications and drivers, restoring my backed up documents and pictures...I'll just dump it into a bucket of holy water and listen to the beautiful screams.

My condolences, whatever happened.
Last time our baby crashed, rather than a holy water baptism, my husband forcibly converted the computer's religion. Now it heeds the protocols of Linux.
Also a wise decision. I've considered doing that for a bit, since it's the main OS I don't have a ton of experience with.
